Cultures in Contact

Recognising discrimination and taking a stand against it: that was the focus of the “Cultures in Contact” project. Youth workers from across Europe explored the various forms and complex contexts of discrimination. The project focused on two levels: the personal level, which is often shaped by prejudices, attitudes, and experiences; and the societal level, which sets the course for power and inequality. The project addressed not only racism but also ageism, gender discrimination, and other forms of discrimination.
