Up2Youth

Young people bring fresh ideas, energy, and new perspectives to our society. With Up2Youth, we want to empower them and amplify their voices. Above all, we want to create space for young people in Europe who grow up with fewer opportunities than others to be heard. Because everyone has something to say. And every voice can make a difference.

The project gives young people from various European cities the opportunity to voice their opinions and actively help shape their communities. They have the chance to put their own ideas into practice, develop their skills, and learn how to advocate for their own needs and those of other young people in their communities in cultural, social, and political ways. That is why we use creative forms of urban culture: graffiti, poetry, films, or streetwear, forms of expression that arise directly from young people’s everyday lives and show what matters to them.

Together with our partners, we also develop methods and tools that can be used in youth work. The result is a free and openly accessible handbook full of ideas, approaches, and practical tips.
