Mission Statement: The Kreisau-Initiative creates spaces where young people from around the world can come together, make their voices heard, and develop new perspectives. We encourage people to ask critical questions, inspire them to take action, and in doing so strengthen the democracy of tomorrow.

To this end, we organise youth encounters for young people, as well as training programmes, seminars, and conferences for professionals and multipliers in youth work in the following areas: Contemporary History & Human Rights, Inclusion, and Socio-Ecological Transformation.

Vision: Our projects are open to everyone, regardless of characteristics such as age, sexual orientation, abilities, or personal or financial background. Democracy means diversity. We embody this diversity in our projects. With us, participants learn to approach one another with respect. At the same time, they are encouraged to take a critical look at their surroundings and themselves. Our goal is for people to leave our projects asking themselves: What can I do to make the way we live together a little fairer?
