Guest on the Culture Train to Krzyżowa
28. November 2023Last Friday, 24th November 2023, the cultural train from Berlin to Wrocław was transformed into a moving stage for Krzyżowa.
The trip was titled “Wrocław’s Neighbors – Sasiedzi Wrocławia: A Guest on the Culture Train: Kreisau-Krzyżowa as a Guest on the Pociąg do Kultury.”
Also on board was the team of the Krzyżowa network, represented by Memorial Director Dominik Kretschmann, volunteer Nikolai Wittschorek, and honorary board member Annemarie Franke from the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, Executive Director Anna Quirin of the Freya von Moltke Foundation for the New Kreisau; Deputy General Manager and Representative Paulina Schgmid of the Krzyżowa-Music Chamber Music Festival; and Deputy Executive Director Elżbieta Kosek of the Kreisau-Initiative e. V.
The Smooth Acoustic Duo provided the perfect musical accompaniment to the programme. Thanks to the exciting quiz, interactive language activities, lively stories, and vivid images, the passengers on the Culture Train were able to discover the historic town of Krzyżowa and gain a sense of current youth work and educational projects. This allowed them to get to know the various facets of Krzyżowa.
