Forest Acrobats

Environmental issues affect everyone, including the youngest members of our society. The “Forest Acrobats” project was therefore tailored to children and young people who, until now, had little to no exposure to topics related to environmental protection and nature in the context of an international exchange. Nature itself served as the classroom: The young participants explored the forest, got to know its inhabitants, and experienced what makes it so unique. Through this, they were able to learn how closely our lives are connected to those of the forests, animals, and plants. It wasn’t just about observing, marveling, and understanding: In workshops on circus arts, dance, and art, they engaged with what they had learned in a playful and creative way.
