WARM Academy

Zahlreiche Teilnehmende der WARM Academy sind von hinten zu sehen, wie sie auf einer Wiese sitzen und auf einer riesen Leinwand einen Film schauen.

How can we talk about war without becoming hardened, without forgetting, but by taking responsibility for one another? In the “WARM Academy” project, people from all over the world gathered in Sarajevo to learn exactly that. Renowned international journalists, photographers, artists, human rights activists, and youth workers shared their expertise on how to tell stories from crisis regions: sensitively, honestly, and with the courage to make a difference. The focus was on the Gaza-Israel conflict, the war in Ukraine, and other crises shaping our global community. Through workshops, exhibitions, and film screenings, participants were able to exchange ideas and learn from one another. The “WARM Academy” is a project of the WARM Foundation that took place in 2024 in collaboration with Forum Ziviler Friedensdienst e. V. and Kreisau-Initiative e. V.
