Pentecost Meeting: 22nd to 25th May 2026

The Pentecost Meeting in Krzyżowa/Kreisau is an open gathering for everyone who feels connected to the place through encounters, projects, or its many stories and histories, as well as for those who would like to discover Krzyżowa/Kreisau for the first time.

Krzyżowa/Kreisau is a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days: you can relax or play on the meadow, go for walks, cycle to Świdnica/Schweidnitz, sit around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy Polish specialities, explore the history of the place, and exchange ideas about the work of the New Kreisau.

There will be a programme including guided tours, excursions, and discussion formats. You are welcome to take a break at any time and rejoin later.

There will also be several activities for children and young people.

If any of you play a musical instrument, your contribution would be very welcome during the evening campfires or at the church service on Sunday.

Language

This is an open meeting – everyone is welcome. We will again aim for a mix of German, English, and Polish, and we are happy to see the meeting becoming a little more international each year.

Costs

Accommodation

Rooms of varying standards and sizes are available in the Horse Stable, Cow Stable, Granary, and Building 11.
Prices per night including breakfast are as follows:

Single room	150 zł	220 zł
Double room	190 zł	280 zł
Triple room	270 zł	360 zł
Four-bed room	320 zł	440 zł
Five-bed room	350 zł

Children up to the age of 4 stay free of charge if they sleep in their parents’ bed.

Catering and programme

The flat rate for catering and the programme is approx. 350 PLN per person for a stay from Friday evening to Monday morning.
For shorter stays, the fee will be reduced accordingly.
Children up to the age of 4 participate free of charge.

Possible additional costs

Bicycles can be rented on site in Krzyżowa. The rental fee is 50 PLN per bicycle per day, payable on site.
The current exchange rate is 1 € = 4.22 zł.

Travel

By car

Krzyżowa/Kreisau (approx. 70 km from Wrocław) can be reached by car in about 3.5 hours from Berlin and just under 2 hours from Görlitz.

By train

There are several EuroCity connections. You can travel by train to Legnica or Wrocław and continue towards Krzyżowa from there.
Please note that Krzyżowa/Kreisau station is a request stop. During the journey, inform the train conductor that you wish to get off in Krzyżowa.

Other travel options

There are also numerous flight, train, and bus connections to Wrocław from many cities. We are happy to provide tips for onward travel from Wrocław to Krzyżowa/Kreisau.
In the spirit of sustainable travel, we encourage you to use environmentally friendly means of transport where possible and to form carpool groups if feasible.
