Within the scope of this project, we aim to strengthen already existing contacts in our network as well as to establish new contacts while testing methods and approaches for practice-oriented education for sustainable development and exchanging knowledge and experiences around that topic.
Through an external professional facilitator, we aim to get a deeper understanding of our potential and those of our partners and to utilize this potential in our future projects in education for sustainable development. In that way, we are aiming to create an even stronger and more sustainable network around our programme area of socio-ecological transformation.
1. Networking event for partners in which we are going to critically reflect on what we have offered so far within the field of education for sustainable development, what the needs in that area of education are and how we can further meet these needs in the future projects by including a perspective for the use of digital possibilities.
2. Mutual visits of educators and project coordinators in the German-Polish network that will enable their further professional development and networking in the field of education for sustainable development and socio-ecological transformation.
3. Based on the outcome of the needs analysis during the networking event we will create a capacity-building workshop for our partners in the network to foster further development of their skills.
More about the DPJW Lighthouse Programme
The Lighthouses Programme of the German-Polish Youth Office (DPJW) was created with the aim of supporting youth organisations, associations, educational institutions and training centres from Germany and Poland during the pandemic. Thanks to DPJW funding, they realise projects for international youth exchange and thus maintain and develop networks. They inform, market, train and advise anyone who wants to organise German-Polish youth encounters online or in person. A total of 35 institutions from both countries are participating in the programme and will implement their actions until the end of 2022.
