Training for Youth Workers: Human Rights, Facing History and Transitional Justice

We are looking for participants (youth workers and educators) from Poland and Germany for an international training in the field of civic education, human rights, facing history and transitional justice, which takes place from November 7th to 12th.

The training is open to 20 youth workers, educators, trainers and teachers from Germany, Lebanon, Poland, Tunisia and Turkey. The workshop will provide instruction and build training skills of the participants in critical pedagogy methods applied to the aforementioned fields, comparing in the process the commons as well as specific challenges that youth workers face working in their respective countries. Civic education, human rights education, facing history and transitional justice themes will also be covered within the context of modern rise in extremism and radicalization, Islamophobia and xenophobia, and the overall polarization present in the political sphere on a global level.
